Open Access Publishing With Hindawi

Recently, Georgia State University purchased a one-year institutional membership with Hindawi Publishing Corporation that will allow faculty and student researchers the option to publish their research in open access format without paying article processing charges. This offer is available now and ends June 14, 2013.

Hindawi publishes more than 300 Open Access journals covering a wide range of academic disciplines. All articles in Hindawi journals are open access and distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. The majority of Hindawi’s journals are included in one or more of the leading abstracting and indexing databases, including Web of Science, PubMed, MathSciNet, Biological Abstracts, and SciFinder Scholar.

As a part of GSU’s membership agreement, Hindawi will waive processing charges for any manuscript with a GSU lead author. We hope this membership will give you another avenue to publish research and increase visibility of the innovative research taking place on campus.

To find out more about the company and how to publish your research, visit the Hindawi website, where you will also find institutional webpages listing all articles in Hindawi journals (for example, http://www.hindawi.com/institutions/gsu.edu/), and additional links to valuable resources and tools.

If you choose to utilize Hindawi, please provide feedback via research@gsu.edu regarding your experience so that we can track user response and provide our faculty with services that best fits their needs.
