International Education Week: Psychology

November 15 – 19, 2010, is International Education Week — β€œan opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.”

The Georgia State University Library is happy to highlight the benefits of such global educational exchange taking place through GSU’s Department of Psychology.

The Psychology of Skin Bleaching in Tanzania: From Slavery to Colonization to Contemporary Motivations (1827 – Today) is a rich experiential learning opportunity open to eligible GSU students that will be offered in May, 2011.

Past participants Kecia Ellick, Solette Harris, and Will Jones, along with psychology faculty members Dr. Kelly Lewis and Dr. Erin Tone, recently presented at the Psychology Undergraduate Research Conference highlighting their research from the 2010 program in Tanzania:
