Bagley Named Associate University Librarian for Public Services

Pullen Library has appointed Elizabeth L. Bagley to the position of Associate University Librarian for Public Services. Bagley will be responsible for leading the public services operations and initiatives of the library.

 

Well-respected by colleagues throughout the state, Bagley brings to the Georgia State community nearly 20 years of experience in the library field. She joins the university from Roberts Library at Dalton State College, where she has served as library director since 2000 and successfully led a $5 million library renovation. Previously she served for seven years as library director at South Georgia College, Douglas.

 

Bagley has worked for libraries within the University System of Georgia (USG) for 11 years and served as chair of the USG Regents Academic Committee on Libraries (RACL) and Georgia Library Learning Online (GALILEO) Steering Committee.

 

Bagley obtained an M.Ln. in 1987 from Emory University and an A.B. in English in 1983 from Mount Holyoke College, Mass.
