Anthropology's Dr. Patico Publishes Article on Matchmaking

Jennifer Patico has recently published an article entitled “Kinship and Crisis: The Embedding of Economic Pressures and Gender Ideals in Postsocialist International Matchmaking.”  The article appears in the Spring 2010 issue of Slavic Review.  The Spring issue of this journal is located with the current print periodicals on the first floor of Library North, while older issues of this title are available in JSTOR.

Dr. Patico is a professor in GSU’s Anthropology Department speJen_rdax_205x243cializing in sociocultural anthropology.  Her areas of interest include gender and power, consumption and material culture, and Russia and postsocialist Europe.
