Distinguish yourself as a researcher–set up your ORCID

ORCID is not new, but its significance has increased as researchers share the same name and individual researchers publish under different names over the course of their career.  This service involves a free registration on orcid-logoyour part, offering linkage to other identification services in which you are already participating such as ResearcherID and LinkedIn. Registration also provides the opportunity to set up your research-related information (e.g. awards, affiliations).  Once registered, your ORCID will be very useful to include on grant applications, publication submissions, and other research activity.

For more information and to register, visit the ORCID site.
