Georgia State Professors Support Open Access

Open Access LogoGeorgia State University Professors Carrie Freeman, Jill Littrell, Monica Swahn and Dennis Young express their views on open access, institutional repositories, and the future of scholarly publishing in 14 featured interview clips currently available on ScholarWorks.  The professors address the following topics:

Open access institutional repositories like ScholarWorks @ Georgia State University have the progressive goal of democratizing information access but are also fully compatible with traditional scholarly practices such as peer review, citation, and intellectual property.

Scholarworks @ Georgia State University includes scholarly and creative works, research, publications and reports contributed by the faculty and students of Georgia State University. The institutional repository is administered by the Georgia State University Library in cooperation with individual departments and academic units of the University.
