In Memoriam: Painter Lucian Freud

The New York Times reports that world-renowned painter, Lucian Freud, has died at the age of 88. Read the full article here.

Freud was perhaps best-known for his paintings of nudes, done in subtle tones of thickly-applied oil paint.
