DAEL’s The Window Project Enriches Downtown Arts Scene
GSU’s Digital Arts Entertainment Laboratory (DAEL) recently launched The Window Project–a “curated new media installation space” located in the windows of the DAEL (1 Park Place). Seven synchronized high definition projectors create a rear-projection screen that stands over six feet high and spans over 80 feet in width. Next time you’re near 1 Park Place after dark, be sure to look up at the DAEL windows to see the newest installation!
The current installation, “Past Perfect Continuous” by GSU alumnus Micah Stansell, will be on view until 1 July.
If you want to see more video art, check out the ASPECT: The Chronicle of New Media series of DVDs in the library’s A/V collection.
