Clyde Faulkner, former dean, dies
Clyde W. Faulkner, Jr., Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences from 1981-1991, passed away on Saturday. A celebration of his life will be held tomorrow (Friday, April 15) at 2 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons, 2773 North Decatur Rd., in Decatur.
Dean Faulkner was a Professor of Sociology at Georgia State University. His accomplishments as dean of the College of Arts & Sciences are described in the Annual Reports of the Divisions of the University from 198o/81-1990/91, located in University Archives.
