Library North Book Shift
Starting on Monday, Feb. 12, the General Collection on Library North 3 and part of Library North 5 (call numbers KDZ – PS) will be shifted into the new compact shelving on Library North 4.
Once books are on Library North 4, they will need to be retrieved by library staff until the Fire Marshall issues a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) for that area. The area cannot be made accessible to patrons before the CO is issued, which we expect to be by mid-March.
Requests for retrieval of books can be made at the Circulation desk on Library North 1, or via the online form accessible from GIL (sample screen shot below).
