Governor Perdue Proclaims April 20 Library Workers Day in Georgia
Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue recently declared Tuesday, April 20, 2004, as the first Library Workers Day in Georgia. The proclamation was signed on April 7. The American Library Association called for the first annual Library Workers Day as part of the weeklong celebration of National Library Week, April 18-24, 2004.
