University Library Presents "The Future of the American Labor Movement"

The University Library Southern Labor Archives and the Georgia State Labor Studies Program will co-sponsor “The Future of the American Labor Movement”with Hoyt Wheeler, Ph.D. Professor, University of South Carolina, 4-5 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2004. The discussion will take place in the Special Collections Department Colloquium Room, Library South Eighth Floor.

Professor Wheeler earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin and his law degree from the University of Virginia. He is an award-winning author, former president of the Industrial Relations Research Association, and a current member of the National Academy of Arbitrators. Professor Wheeler’s most recent book is entitled, “The Future of the American Labor Movement.”
