Mary C. McMahon Dawson recently was named Archival Assistant for Special Collections at the University Library. McMahon Dawson served as the library’s project archivist for the Johnny Mercer Collection since July of this year. Previously, she was a reference assistant at Rutgers University, NJ, where she earned an MLIS in 2003.
Jason M. Schultz has been named Communication Liaison/Reference Librarian. Schultz most recently served as African studies librarian at the Melville J. Herskovits Library of African Studies and reference librarian at Northwestern University Library, Evanston, Ill. He obtained an M.A. in African Studies and an M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in 2002.
