Database Access Update

Please be advised that the Library has converted its Silverplatterdatabase subscription from CD-ROM to all web-based access. This change offers a number of benefits for users:

  • More timely updates
  • Enhanced Search functionality provided through Webspirs
  • Weblink to Holdings feature enabled on all database records containing an ISSN or ISBN number
  • Reliable database access provided by the vendor

We will no longer use the WINSPIRS client for access within the Library and the server address liberl.gsu.edu will no longer be valid. When a patron clicks on one of our Silverplatter databases they will be connected directly to the vendor’s website.

Please be advised that we have converted our subscription for Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA) from CD-ROM to web-based access from Silverplatter. This resource is accessible via the Research Databases Page or directly via the following URL:
