Tamika Barnes nominated to run for President of the American Library Association

We’re proud to share that Tamika Barnes, Associate Dean, Perimeter College Library Services at Georgia State University Library, has been nominated to run for President of the American Library Association (ALA), representing libraries and library workers nationwide.

“I am deeply honored to be nominated to stand for president-elect for the American Library Association,” said Barnes. “Libraries have shaped every part of my life and career… I am committed to leading with integrity, transparency, and collaboration, ensuring that our association continues to be a strong voice for libraries and library workers everywhere.”
