Capture Your Graduate Photos at the University Library
Congratulations, graduates!
Through projects, research papers, group assignments and more, your University Library has been with you every step of the way. Since the Library is the hub of academic and personal creativity, what better way to commemorate your academic achievement than by taking your graduation photos in the University Library!
The Details
Graduation photos will be allowed from May 1 – 3 and May 6 – 10 during Atlanta Campus Main Library hours.
Graduating students may be accompanied by one photographer. If the photographer and any family members are not affiliated with GSU, they will need to sign in at the security desk with a government-issued photo ID like all other visitors.
The photographer may bring only one equipment bag, which is subject to inspection by the security officer.
Available Spaces
Three areas will be available for taking pictures:
- the 3rd floor of Library North,
- the Library North Terrace (2nd floor), and
- the CURVE (2nd floor, Library South).
The wall in the CURVE will have a congratulatory message which can be customized with the graduate’s name, if requested. For assistance in the CURVE, inquire at the Library North 1st floor service desk.
NOTE: The University Library’s filming and photography policy still applies, with the exception that students do not need advance permission to take photographs during this special window.
