Georgia State University’s Scholarly Enterprise

Students celebrate becoming a university by removing “COLLEGE” from the entrance to Sparks Hall, 1969.

Scholarly Enterprise is a new exhibit celebrating Georgia State’s centennial.  The exhibit theme is academics and focuses on institutional growth, colleges, library, global initiatives, research institutes, and centers.

This exhibit is located on the bridge near the Library South entrance.   It is the Library’s fourth and final exhibit about Georgia State University’s unique history.  Prior exhibits include Panther Pride: Georgia State Sports & Recreation: 1, 2, 3, 4;   Urban Pioneers: People & Places: 1, 2, 3, 4; and The Changing Face of GSU:  The Road to Diversity: 1, 2, 3, 4.
