Ceramics Grad Student Wins Top Award in National Juried Exhibition
Congratulations to Ashley Maxwell, MFA student in the Welch School of Art & Design’s Ceramics program. Ashley’s work took the top prize in the graduate student category in the national juried exhibition of student work held by NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts).
Getting her work shown in the exhibition is a major accomplishment in itself, as graduate students from all over the United States vie for a place in the show. This year only 41 students were selected to show their work.
