Georgia State University Library Rewards Excellent Student Scholarship
Usually it’s the students who pay the university, not the other way around! There are two opportunities for Georgia State’s student researchers to receive monetary rewards for their hard work. But the deadline’s coming up fast!
The University Library Undergraduate Research Award recognizes Georgia State University undergraduates who demonstrate skill and creativity in the application of library information resources for research papers or projects completed in fulfillment of a course requirement.
The Georgia State University Library also offers the Sanford Bederman Research Award, specifically seeking graduate student research that utilizes geographic information. The library and its supporters wish to encourage excellent scholarship and hope these awards will generate an enthusiastic, competitive response.
Applications for both awards are due on February 10, 2012, making this the perfect time to get your best work ready. $600 will be awarded to each of the award winners!
