Library Gets 12.5 Thousand Visits In One Day
According to our gate count, Georgia State University Library had 12,558 visits on Wednesday, November 30th last week. That’s roughly 37% of the entire campus population in one day! Our last busiest day was September 13, 2011 when we saw only 11,787 visits.
It’s clearly a busy time with finals and term papers due. We even noticed several tweets about the traffic in the facility. Some people have taken to calling us the “Hartsfield-Jackson Library” on there. Here’s two tweets that caught our eye:
“The entire Georgia State is in the library right now. Just drove me insane.”
“I think its Occupy The Library at #GSU too many people in there.”
