Key Open Access Journals in the Fine & Performing Arts
Although free, open access publishing in the arts has lagged a bit behind other disciplines (due in large part to arts-related copyright issues), there are some key open access journals worth knowing. Many of these journals are even indexed in our research databases, right alongside their subscription-based peers! Here are a few of my favorites.
