Belize, GIS and Study Abroad
Wondering what to do during Maymester? How does engaging with local communities in Belize while conducting field work for a community GIS (Geographic Information Systems) project sound? The Department of Geosciences is offering a Maymester study abroad course in Belize from May 9-18, 2012. This study abroad course is open to all undergraduate and graduate students and no previous experience with GIS is needed. For more information see the Belize Study Abroad 2012 Maymester site.
