European Journal of Information Systems Publishes Special Issue on RFID Applications
The December 2009 issue of the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS) focuses on radio frequency identification (RFID) systems. RFID technology has been applied in supply chain management, healthcare, food traceability, manufacturing, logistics, and customer relationship management. It’s even being utilized in large libraries. Articles in the special issue discuss various applications for using RFID, some of the controversies and issues surrounding its use, and strategies for assessing the value of RFID projects.
GSU students, faculty and staff can read the full-text articles in EJIS online. From the Library home page, just click on the Electronic Journal Locator link and key in the name of the journal. By the way, did you know that this prestigious journal is edited by Prof. Richard Baskerville? He’s a member of the faculty in the Department of Computer Information Systems in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
