Gen Coll A – KE Books Moving
Starting on Tuesday, May 29, the General Collection on Library North 4 containing call numbers A – HA will be shifted into the new compact shelving on Library North 5. Once books are on Library North 5, they will need to be retrieved by library staff until the Fire Marshall issues a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) for that area. The area cannot be made accessible to patrons before the CO is issued, which we expect to be by mid-June.
Starting on Monday, June 11, the General Collection on Library North 5 containing call numbers HB – KE will be shifted into the new shelving on Library North 3. While this collection is being shifted, books will need to be retrieved by library staff. The collection will be accessible to patrons once the collection move to LN 3 is complete, which we expect to be around June 19.
Book retrieval requests during this time can be placed at the circulation desk on Library North 1 or Library South 2, or using the online form at www.library.gsu.edu/forms/retrieval.asp
