Search databases faster with GALILEO Quick Search

Make swift work of your research with Quick Search, GALILEO’s newest research tool. Quick Search allows you to search multiple online library resources simultaneously. Now, instead of searching through one database at a time, you can search through ten or more all at once.

A preliminary Quick Search BETA version was launched March 28 and is available on the GALILEO homepage. During the BETA stage, only GALILEO databases are included in Quick Search. Many databases purchased by the University Library will be included in the future. Those databases are on the library’s website next to the university’s logo.

GALILEO–known as Georgia’s virtual library–provides online access to over 100 databases that index thousands of periodicals and scholarly journals. Over 2,000 journal titles are provided in full-text. Other resources include encyclopedias, business directories, and government publications.
