Dear Georgia State University,
Thank you for your patience while we worked to bring our music services back online after what we believe was a Denial of Service attack on our firewall.
As of today, all Alexander Street Press music services are now fully functional and all normal access should be restored.
We have taken the appropriate steps to ensure that any further disruption is kept to a minimum.
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you continue to have any problems with your music service(s).
Sincerely,
Customer Support

Dear Georgia State University
We are currently experiencing a problem with our firewall, which is affecting our live services.
We believe that the cause is a severe Distributed Denial of Service attack that is overwhelming our perimeter firewall, preventing legitimate access to our services. When this occurs, we often have to take our services down to prevent further problems. We are in the process of investigating ways to ensure any further attacks do not disrupt our services completely.
We expect to resume normal service by no later than the end of today. We will send out another email once services are fully operational.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience while we work to restore full functionality for our music databases.
Yours sincerely,
Alexander Street Press Customer Support
