Professor Daniel Endows Music Archive
Georgia State Professor Emeritus Dr. Wayne W. Daniel recently funded a library endowment to support the acquisition of material related to Southern gospel, bluegrass and country music. The collectionwhich includes material amassed personally by Danielwill be part of the Special Collections Popular Music archive.
Daniel retired in 1991 from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business Institute of Decision Sciences. He is author of “Pickin on Peachtree: a History of Country Music in Atlanta, Georgia” (University of Illinois Press, 1990).
