Pattons' Library Gift Promotes Children's Literacy
Georgia State President Carl Patton and wife Gretchen have provided a gift to name the campus library’s children’s literature collection. The Carl and Gretchen Patton Children’s Collection, composed of about 13,000 titles, eventually will be relocated to a family-friendly section of Library North. The Pattons also bequeathed their own children’s book collection, which includes books amassed by the couple since their children were young.
