GIS and Demographic Data Workshops
Are you interested in learning more about new GIS and demographic data resources and applications that are available for research and teaching? Would you like to create maps or visualize demographic data with easy to use web-based resources? If so, attend one of the GIS and Demographic Data Workshops.
- Monday, February 18, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in Classroom 1 on the 1st floor of Library North
- Thursday, March 7, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Classroom 1 on the 1st floor of Library North
- Wednesday, March 13, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in Classroom 1 on the 1st floor of Library North
These workshops are open to all students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines. In these workshops you’ll learn about resources such as Social Explorer, SimplyMap, Community Analyst, and Business Analyst, which enable you to easily create web-based maps and reports by utilizing their large current and historical datasets.
