GSU Copyright Lawsuit

Posted on August 14, 2012 by Laura Burtle

On August 10, Judge Orinda Evans issued her final order in the GSU copyright lawsuit.  She found GSU to be the prevailing party, and notes that “the Court is convinced that Defendants did try to comply with the copyright laws.”

The University System of Georgia Copyright Policy was revised in May and now reflects Judge Evans’ ruling.  In turn, the GSU practice has also been updated.
