Special Collections Hours Updated

Researching unique materials from our library can be exciting, like excavating history from a vault of twentieth century secrets. Our mission is to make resources as accessible as possible for our users. The Special Collections and Archives of Georgia State University Library are updating their hours for researchers, beginning on Monday, August 6. New hours are as follows:

  • Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday:  By appointment only.
  • Other times may be arranged by appointment.
  • Note: If you are not affiliated with Georgia State University, or either a University System of Georgia or ARCHE school please review our Access Policy to see if you need advance written permission for access. To make arrangements, call 404-413-2880 or write to archives@gsu.edu.

The Special Collections and Archives of Georgia State University Library collects and preserves unique and rare historical materials in selected subject areas. The department promotes the use of these materials by the Georgia State University community, scholars and the public. Its goal is to advance scholarship and to further the educational, research and service missions of the university.
