Paid Archival Internship Opportunity at UGA

The Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and
Studies at the University of Georgia (Athens) is pleased to
announce an archival internship available from May 23 through
July 29, 2005, for a graduate student interested in pursuing a
career in archival administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Recent graduate or current student of a
masters-level graduate program in library science, public
history, or a related field with the intention of becoming an
archivist.  Applicant is required to have completed an
introductory archives course and have some processing
experience. 

COMPENSATION:  $4000.  9 weeks at 35 hours per week, May 23 through July 29, 2005.  Does not include housing, benefits, or travel expenses, though on-campus housing is available.
