Google Scholar: New GSU Library Web Page Helps Locate Titles
The University Library has created a web page to help you determine whether articles, documents, or titles listed in Google Scholar – a new tool for conducting preliminary research – are available to you via our collections and services. The page is located at: www.library.gsu.edu/googlescholar
Before you pay for an article or order a book you have found using Google Scholar, follow the steps on our page to learn whether the library has it or can get it for you. You may be surprised at what we own.
And remember: Google is just one of many tools we provide to help you conduct research. Others include research guides developed by our librarians, e-journals and databases, GIL the Library Catalog, and our Ask-A-Librarian service for consultation with librarians live online, through e-mail, by phone or in person.
