History Professor Wins Organization of American Historians’ Frederick Jackson Turner Award

David Sehat, The Myth of American Religious FreedomProf. David Sehat was recently awarded the Organization of American Historians’ Frederick Jackson Turner Award for his recently published book The Myth of American Religious Freedom (2011). The Turner prize is awarded annually to an author whose first scholarly book deals with some aspect of American history. Prof. Sehat received this award at the annual Organization of American Historians conference earlier this month.
