The Writing Studio is offering its’ final workshop of the year on CVs, Personal Statements, and Applications, Thursday November 17th at 4:00pm in the Troy Moore Library, 9th floor General Classroom Building. This is a great opportunity for graduating students to get help with their curriculum vitae or with all kinds of applications that may be due at the end of the semester. This workshop is open to all students, faculty, and staff of Georgia State University.
The Georgia State University Library can help students find print and electronic resources for resumes and cover letter writing. Here are two books in the reference collection that can get you started: The Guide to Basic Cover Letter Writing by Steven Provenzano and The Guide to Basic Resume Writing. The library also has more books on resumes specific for subject areas such as Resumes for Health and Medical Careers. The librarians at the Research Support Desk (Library North 2) can help you find more resources on resumes and curriculum vitae.
