“Getting Your Grammar Right” Writing Studio Workshop, 9/28/11, 4 pm

The Writing Studio is offering yet another free workshop for students in all majors. Dr. Malinda Snow will be presenting “Getting Your Grammar Right: Suggestions that will help you” at 4pm in the Troy Moore Library, 9th floor General Classroom Building. Dr. Snow, an associate professor in the Department of English, teaches the popular class Practical Grammar each semester. Dr. Snow is also a Sacred Harp singer and captained the Agnes Scott College Bowl team that defeated Princeton in 1966.

Want to learn more about English grammar? Take a look at these books found in the University Library: Roy Peter Clark- The Glamour of grammar (2010); Grammar Smart by the Princeton Review (2001); Edith Hope Fine- Nitty-gritty grammar (1998); and  Edith Fine Hope- More nitty-gritty grammar (2001.) You may also want to look at the Owl Purdue Online Writing Lab Grammar page for help with your grammar questions.
