- PEN Literary Awards – literary fiction and nonfiction
- National Book Awards – click on the AWARDS dropdown menu in homepage’s banner and browse by decades or by genre
- ALA’s Frequently Challenged Books Lists – you can see lists by author, by decades (1990-1999 and 2000-2009), and classics.
- O’Henry Prize Stories – short stories – this year’s winners/finalists and past winners/finalists since its 1918 inception – the library has several years’ collections available on Library North 3rd floor, Call # PS648.S5 O11
- Black Caucus of the ALA Literary Awards – acknowledge outstanding achievement in the presentation of the cultural, historical and sociopolitical aspects of the Black Diaspora – browse by present and past years.
- Stonewall Book Awards – presented to English language books that have exceptional merit relating to the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered experience – browse by present and past years.
