Harner’s Literary Research Guide
The library now has electronic access to James Harner’s Literary Research Guide which is published by the Modern Language Association. Literary Research Guide is a selective, annotated guide to reference sources essential to the study of British literature, literature of the United States, other literature in English, and related topics. You can browse over 1,000 entries, which refer to nearly 1,600 additional books, articles, and electronic resources or search by keyword. This resource is targeted to advanced undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty and scholars in English and related disciplines. It will be updated twice a year with new resources. It can be accessed through GIL or GIL-Find, by the title Literary Research Guide in the library’s database list, and will be listed in the Core list of databases for English when the new web site debuts.
