Dr. Christine Rosenbloom on Aging and Nutrition
Dr. Christine A. Rosenbloom from Georgia State’s Division of Nutrition is an expert on nutrition issues related to aging. She has written numerous articles and a book on the topic, has contributed columns such as this one to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and teaches a course entitled Health and the Older Adult (GERO 4200 or HHS 4200).
Most recently, Dr. Rosenbloom was interviewed for an article in the Miami Herrald about the decrease in quantity and sensitivity of taste buds among older adults. In the article, she offers helpful suggestions on ways to make eating more enjoyable for this often underweight age group.
