Currently, NIF (http://nif.nih.gov/) searches the following resources simultaneously: NIF Web (keyword searching of neuroscience-related websites), NIF Registry (cataloged neuroscience electronic and non-electronic resources), databases (Cell Centered Database, NeuronDB at SenseLab, SumsDB, NeuroMorpho and NeuroMab), literature, CRISP (NIH grants and projects), and GENSAT (Gene Expression Nervous System Atlas). It is certainly a portal to watch.
