Archives Week Brown Bag
This is a reminder that today, October 10, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. the Special Collections department will be hosting a Brown Bag screening of the GSU student film, “Muted Riot: Atlanta, 1906”. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers.
While visiting the 8th floor be sure to check out the exhibit cases. On display are “Faces of Georgia”. Lane and O’Neil photographic Images depicting Atlanta from the 1940’s,1950’s, and 1960’s are on view.
Also, don’t forget that an Archives Week Open House will be held on Thursday, October 12 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. This will be an informal meeting in which students will get a chance to meet the Archivists, learn how Archives can serve as an important resource for their studies and have a second chance to view the student film. Coffee and cookies will be served.
