2005 GALILEO User Survey
Dear GALILEO users,
The annual GALILEO User Surveys, conducted since 1997, have provided
valuable firsthand feedback from users about what they want, as well as
experiential feedback from library staff on how their patrons are (or
are not) navigating the menus and databases. This information has been
instrumental in the determination of resource offerings and interface
development for GALILEO. The current Upgrade is a direct result of
survey-generated requests for a single search box and a simplified
interface. Survey responses are compiled and tabulated for review by
stakeholders and are posted on the GALILEO web site on the Assessment
page (http://www.usg.edu/galileo/about/assess/survey.phtml).
The 2005 GALILEO User Survey will begin Tuesday, November 15, and your
feedback is needed. Tomorrow a special graphic will appear on the
GALILEO home page that invites users to participate. Please use the
survey to share information about your use of GALILEO’s resources and
your ideas for how GALILEO can be improved. We hope you will encourage
all of the GALILEO users at your institution to take a few minutes to
send us their feedback. The survey will last through Monday, November 21.
Thank you in advance taking the time to contribute your opinions and ideas.
Regards,
Karen
