Underaged Drinking Laws and Drunk Driving Deaths

This publication┬áby the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, “Lives Saved in 2007 by Restraint Use and Minimum Drinking Age Laws,” indicates that the 21-year-old minimum drinking age laws have prevented an estimated 4,441 drunken driving deaths in the last 5 years alone.
