New Search Features Added to GIL
The interface for GIL has changed to include three new screens: Quick Search, Keyword Search, and Exact Search.
Quick Search allows a simple keyword search that does not require the use of the plus (+) sign; and searching is implied. This screen has prominent links to Course Reserves and My GIL Account, used to renew books online, view a patron record, and obtain the current GALILEO password. Keyword Search allows for advanced searching by providing boxes for multiple terms. Use the Exact Search to find known items such as author, title, and journal title.
